Learn how to get Google Star reviews on Shopping ads using Judge.me. Follow this simple, step-by-step guide to boost your product ratings!
In this post, I'll explain how to get Google Star reviews on your Google Shopping ads using the app Judge.me. This is a simple process, and I'll provide step-by-step instructions to help you along the way.
Make sure you're on a paid plan with Judge.me. The free plan doesn't allow you to create the necessary feed to connect to Google Merchant Center. You need the features that come with the paid plan.
Next, you need to have at least 50 verified reviews on your website. This is important because Google requires a minimum number of reviews before you can qualify for product ratings.
Now, it's time to fill out the Google Merchant Center application.
After you fill out the form, submit it. You'll usually receive approval very quickly—often within just a few minutes.
Once you receive your approval email, log in to your Google Merchant Center account. You'll want to create a review feed there.
Now, let's head back to Judge.me. Here's how to generate your review feed:
Follow the instructions provided closely. Judge.me is user-friendly, so you should find this easy.
Now that you've generated the review feed go back to Google Merchant Center:
In the file section, you must enter the XML URL from Judge.me. This is how the review feed connects to the Google Merchant Center.
Your Judge.me review feed should be connected to Google Merchant Center. If you see a status that says "inactive," don't worry. This means Google needs to manually review your account first, which can take about four to six weeks.
You've successfully added reviews to your Google Shopping ads. I recommend starting this process as soon as you onboard a new client, as it can take some time to see results.
